The Florida Real Estate Commission (FREC) requires all real estate license applicants to complete the fingerprint process as part of the mandatory background check.
If you live in Florida or another state, you can take your fingerprints at an authorized entity within your state, provided that the service is certified to send the results directly to FDLE and the Department of Business and Professional Regulation (DBPR) in Florida.
